I don't facebook at all. Probably never will. I never understood why I have to "like" a page. What if I honestly don't like the page at all? If I get the email from someone else, and I haven't "liked" the page, then what? Yeah playing devils advocate.

That's the wrong site if you got that

It would help if you went to the right page. if you got this image, you got the wrong website.

"Liking" something does several things, like bringing changes to that page to you so you don't have to visit it. Your "like" becomes part of a theme when it comes to advertising, which is how social networking sites accumulate revenue. Your "like" is advertised to your friends, thus bringing awareness where it previously was vacant, possibly driving up interest in the site.

+1. Somehow, I suspect the campaign to get liked (and the benefit for doing so) won't apply to non-Facebookers.

So you gave your internet business a name one letter different than a pre-existing business? And the name you chose is less obvious than the name of the pre-existing business so that people who want to reach your business are more likely to get the other business? And then you launch your beta version without even having a test run first?

Are you new at this?

I don't want to go out and point fingers, but we had the name first then they decided to start an online business. We also own GotBMWParts.com and Minipartssource.com we own a ton of websites that all point to BMWPartsSource.com. We are the only real game in town !!!

I've had deals go because they forced me to sign up on Facebook. This one falls under those. Thanks, but no thanks kind.

Call your independent mechanic or call a dealer?

Ignore this post, since it clearly doesn't target you? Why does everything on this forum turn into complaining? The deal is "like our page for free tech advice"...if you don't have facebook, you can't like their page and thus the deal doesn't apply to you.
