Should I purchase this 2004 e46 M3?

Always wanted an M3. E46 has always been my favorite look-wise. Never really driven one before this one. What do you guys think?

2004 BMW M3 Coupe with SMG
Alpine White
Excellent condition
58K miles
1 owner
$27K incl 125K/6yr extended warranty

I live in CT, so I am about iffy about the car being in cold weather and ice/snow. But is being able to to truly enjoy it all other season worth it??

Thanks for your time!

Alpine white has always been one of my favorite colors. I wouldn't take any M out in the snow but as long as you have a good DD by all means go for it.

Talking Thoughts on this E46 M3? [img included]

Car is actually $26K with extended warranty. Going to pick it up tomorrow

I am very nervous as this is my first M3. I have no garage and not sure about how I should/need to get it ready for winter. This will be my daily driver. No snow tires, but we have a Jeep to use in those occasions.

Here is an image of the car.

Mein Auto: see "my garage"....
Up to you...

As a Canadian and an '04 M3 owner, my thoughts are these are summer cars. The experience is what this is about. Performance and handling are not available (for the most part) in winter.
Something else to consider is the amount of sand and salt on the roads in winter.
Any M3 is a great ride.
Mine is in a bag as of this weekend.

Find a place to keep it this winter and when the roads are clear . . .

I have a 2002 M3 convertible and love it. Like you, i've always fancied one so 6 months ago i bought a Carbon swartz with SMG. As much as there are SMG knockers, im quite impressed with it now i have the hang of it.

Good luck with the new buy.. Enjoy it..
