2009 BMW 320i starting issue question

Hey guys,

i hope that someone can give me some advise! I have a 2009 BMW 320i AT, and have been having some issues when starting my car at random times. Usually it starts instantly, but lately it has been taking a while for it to start. I have to keep my one foot on the break and give it petrol with the other foot to get it to start. This only happens sporadically, so I took it to BMW, and they said that they put it on their machines and can't see anything wrong. They said that they can open up the engine and check to see if it is something to do with the injectors, but they want to charge me a insane amount to even have a look. Any suggestions as to what I can do? Will adding a fuel cleaning liquid to my petrol clean up the fuel system and fix this? Any suggestions / comments will be GREATLY appreciated!

Thanks a lot, and looking forward to your responses!!

Well, it is a fuel pressure / injector / plug(s) / computer / air flow problem. Start somewhere; whittle it down. To wit: read codes and see where you are.

2009 BMW 320i starting issue question

What happens if you don't step on the gas? Could it be a starter issue?

You mean the starter motor? If it turns over, no.
