X5 reprogramming after battery is dead

Hi! I have a X5 2004/04 4.4 and last week my battery was dead due to my girlfriend leving the lights on. I gave the battery a charge and the started, but some of the functions are not working such as the radio and some lights in the panel light head lights and turning lights, parking control is not working on automatic and some other minor things.
Does anyone knows is I have to take the car to an authorized dealer to plug the computer in order to reprogram the CPU of the car, or there is any sequence of commands that I could fix that at home without a high cost. Thank you.

No...the e53 does not use an IBS (intelligent battery sensor) like the newer BMWs and the e70 X5.

More than likely, the weird electrical glitches are due to the battery being drained, and even though you charged it...the deep discharge may have damaged the battery or it hasn't come completely back.

Do you have a meter that can test the battery's voltage? If not, you can UNLOCK the OBC and do TEST 9 and you can see what the battery's voltage is (when the ignition is in position 1 or 2). If the engine is running and you do TEST 9...it will show the alternator/charging system's voltage.

If the battery is at or below 11.89 volts...it is at 0% state of charge:
