Mein Auto: 2012 Z4 35is
Colgan Bra

Hi everyone,
Am new to this site. Picked up my 2012 Z4 35is (only 2000 miles) last month. Living in New England, will be taking it off the road next month and anxiously wait for spring to arrive.

The roads here are always under construction so I am thinking of getting a car bra to protect the great paint job. I have heard differing opinions on them. What does everyone think? Are they worth the effort? Is it a pain to take them off and on whenever they get wet or when you need to wash the car?

Thanks!

My understanding is that these are not a good idea. Dirt gets underneath and will scratch the paint as the bra vibrates and shifts. Perhaps a better idea is to get one of those 3M clear protection films.

Agree 3M or Xpel. I have had it for 2 years on my Truck. Worth every penny.
