Talking My new 2014 35i M-Sport!

Hi All!

Been lurking for a while, ordered, and now registered to show you my new baby

Got out of dealership, ate dinner and went straight for a 4 hour road trip into eastern Quebec!

I'm surprised how clean it still is, in those pics, after the ride.

Awesome ride! Got the sport suspension (included in Canada on M-Sport) and it's super tight, and it drops the car a little bit, really awesome.

It's a little rough in comfort modes, but hey, it's always good to feel the road 19"s are partially to blame here too.

Power is just awesome, so much fun. The sound of this thing, with the subtile (sound wise) but awesome turbo, brings a smile to my face.

Interior is chestnut, with brushed aluminium finishes, love the sporty look.

If any of you have questions or want me to take a photo of something, feel free to ask!

Lovely, except for the "Park Avenue" abomination.

Hahaha, I left quick and didn't see that. I just removed it, it was a very easy to remove sticker, not really sticky.

I'm not really good at seeing details

I asked to not add the front plate, but I didn't think about the ads they'd stick on it -_-

Good catch.

Oooh congrats! It looks great
I got the chestnut interior too and in the pics it looks orange-y more than brown which I don't mind but is the pic accurate? Someone described the color as peanut butter like. Is that accurate?

Pics don't do justice

Here are pics of my 2014 M sport, perhaps a different look at the Chestnut

My instrument cluster is really clean, and I think all black. I haven't seen one like it in pics yet, it's KM/H Only (Canada) and I'm almost certain all black.

I'll post a pic first thing tomorrow!

Back home and tired, after a weekend long road trip. Fun stuff

Hey Guys,

Just did my first mod to my X3! Performance kidney grills.

I love them, awesome stuff! I got them installed by the dealership.

My new 2014 35i M-Sport!

Very nice grills! I did them myself and it was a huge pain! Only because I didn't have the right tools. Took over 2 hours! Would have taken 10mins if I had a 90degree tool. Glad I have small girlie hands and wrists lol
was able to painfully slide my hand in between the grills and unlatch the tabs.
I have carbon black and the black grills make the car look mean looking.

I just got done with my 2nd "mod", got the windows tinted, here's what it looks like. For legal reasons (not so legal but close, somewhat ), I added 50 up front and 35 in the back.

Also, included are the pics of the dashboard asked by a few, both during day and night.

Love the tints..

My instrument cluster doesn't look anything like yours... maybe it's the tech package, but I thought the first X3 I test drove last month also had the same instrument display.

I sure do love that black display when the car is shut off! The 2014 tech package is a Must Have in my book!

This is really nice indeed, the all black cluster.

Unless i'm mistaken, and unless it comes with HUD only, we can't get this in Canada.

Our packages are different, we don't have tech package. We have Premium and Executive, and a few unrelated others, but camera, etc comes from Premium, which I do have.

I like the all black, but I also like the cleanness of the KM/H only one I have (no km/miles). I don't mind not having it, but it's def cool when shut down.

Any Canadians that have it? I'm curious how you did. I never saw any of that on BMW.ca options in the car builder tool for 2014.

Congrats - great color combo.

As you are discovering the X3 3.5 is a great car that not only promises but delivers adventure. If I could have only one car - I would choose my X3 3.5 M Sport DHP - fast, fun and comfortable and great utility to boot. This past weekend I took mine to the mountains of Western Pennsylvania - and my X3 provided great high speed cruising, the ability to traverse a 2000 ft high logging road along a ridgeline, fun in the switchbacks, and a comfy environment for my friends including my German shepherd dog.

You got yourself not only a great looking SAV, but a a real decathlon champ!
