a couple things!

Okay, so I bought myself a 2007 e92 335i last week and i am in love with the car. but i do have a couple questions that hopefully more experienced owners will be able to answer for me.

1. I know the power of the car is the 300hp/300tq between two turbos. would anything cause those numbers to drop and not experience the full power of the car? (if no warning lights are on the dash or idrive system)

2. How do you know that the HPFP is failing?

3. Are there any recalls on the 2007 e92 335's besides the HPFP?

4. Is it worth it to update the cars computer module to the latest software? If so, how much does that cost to do?

5. When I start the car, there is a rattle for a few minutes..it goes away as soon as the driver's side muffler opens up. when the driver's side muffler hasnt opened yet, though, when i press on the gas and let off it makes a louder rattling sound kind of like a running a pen over a fan blade. doesn't do that when the second muffler opens up though. what might that be?

6 and final question. under my carfax, it says this: Transfer module/computer reprogrammed, engine/powertrain computer/module checked, body computer/module reprogrammed. what are these?

thanks in advance to anyone that is able to answer any or even all of these questions!

I can only address No. 2. Call BMW NA and provide your VIN number to see if your car has be remedied (fixed) under the ongoing emissions recall. If not, it will be fixed at no charge to you. One less thing to worry about.
