Advice on 19" wheels and info. on paddle shift

I'm thinking of getting a used facelift (2010+) coupe or convertible 330d/335d M Sport with an automatic gearbox, paddle shift and the 19" alloys.

I'd appreciate your comments with regards to the ride with the 19" wheels.

I'm also not sure what type of paddle shifts these models have as I've seen different ones in different images.
Is the right paddle used for upshifts and the left one for downshifts, or are both used for upshifts and downshifts (pull/push) ?

The paddle shifting changed in 2011. It's now one side is up and the other is down. Before it was push and pull on the paddle, either side.
