Space Gray 35i X-Line picked up last weekend. Front windows were tinted and sides de-badged by dealer. Like night and day when compared with E70.

Can you tell me the color of the interior that was chosen?

It's Terra Dakota and multi-contour seat option.

OK fellow Space Grey fans... I'm starting to have buyers remorse. My F15 hit the production line this week and I am starting to wonder if I should have gone with a lighter color (like white). Too late to do anything about it now... but I ordered the MSport after driving one (black saph w/black interior) and seeing a no line F15 in Space Grey (and doing a LOT of research). Now I'm starting to worry the MSport/Space Grey combo is not a good fit. Ugh. I'm hoping this is last minute jitters/cold feet and that I will fall in love with it when I see it in person
.

My F15 is a Space Gray M-Sport. See what you think.

I know this is a major purchase and it's totally natural to have cold feet -- but I personally HATE the white. Why would you want to drive a refrigerator? Space grey is gorgeous -- and very practical: it won't show dirt so readily as the white, and it won't heat up in the summer as much as the darker colors.

Relax. You've made a great choice.

How much did you pay to de-badge?

Zero. It's pretty easy to do it yourself too.

Thank you for sharing Z!
It's beautiful... making me feel much better this morning
I got the Ivory/black interior and it's nice to see your build as I think parts of the seats will look similar. Now I'm getting excited again.

Enjoy!

Thank you... you are right. Dirt is one of the factors I had taken into consideration.
My current X5 (2006, E53) is dark grey and I have really enjoyed it. My concern was with the front end of the M and the air curtains; whether the grey would be enough contrast with all the black (not really an issue on the no line, X or Luxury lines since they have that piece that covers a good bit of the air curtain).

We also live in SC and it gets HOT so I was starting to wish I had gone lighter to see if that would improve things in the summer. My car prior to the E53 was white with light interior and it showed a LOT of dirt but stayed cool in the summer.

After seeing the pics Z posted, I'm calming down. Feet, not so cold anymore

I think you made a good decision ordering this color combo. I'm sure you'll like the color and enjoy the car. When you see it in person, it's stunning. When it arrives, takes lots of pictures and post it! Glad I can help.
