Should I buy an 06 330i that doesn't have Sport Package??

I am looking at an 06 with very low miles, 1 owner, lots of service records per carfax. It has premium, nav, heated seats, but no sport package. Does everyone feel the sport package is a must? Will handling really suffer without it. I don't do a lot of at the limit driving, but I have driven the car with the sport package and it was a lot of fun.

What are other things I should look at when evaluating this vehicle.

Thanks!!

That's annoying, anyway in answer to your question, sport package definitely not essential. Mine handles great on 18s, way better than my 328Ci with sport suspension on 17s.

Depends on the quality of road surface, and the routes you take. My routes are bumpy and full of potholes, so I'm glad the suspension is a little softer.

I'd actually take the sport suspension right now given the choice, however.

Should be plenty in your area - keep looking, don't settle for anything less than what you really want. The 06 330 is a great car.

It's a great car. I love mine. I don't have sport package and while I do regret it, I'm sort of happy I opt'd out of it.

I upgraded to LCI M Sport bumpers, front and rear.

Installed H&R coilovers and plan on doing all the bushings next, with some upgrades to M arms/bushings. (not that this matters. xDrive models don't have a sport suspension, it's the same as non-sport, xi)

Overall, in my case, not buying sport package has worked out in the long run since I am modding the car the way I want to.

But if you just want to leave the car relatively stock, you might want to consider it. My biggest gripe about not having sport package is lack of the sport seats. Those side bolsters really hug you and make you feel part of the car. I plan swapping in Recaros or seats from a M if I can find a good deal but man do I regret not getting those seats.

Yeh the sport seats are great. I couldn't imagine not having them after having them in my last car and this one.

Shameless plug: Putting my 06 330i up for sale in the next week or so. Has every option but Navi. 66k miles. In SoCal though...
