Real World Fuel Economy on E90 328i?

Hy everyone, I was curious as to what kind of real world fuel economy you were getting in E90 328s? Specifically an MT but AT figures work as well. I know they are rated at 18/28 but real world I have always noticed the BMWs tend to do a little better than their figures suggest.

Thanks in advance!

I have a 2013 128i, 6MT (5000 miles) and I'm lucky if I get 17 city. Highway is a lot closer to 28.

Thirty thousand miles later, it's about 17-18 combined but I drive it like it's an M3!

I was hoping you guys would tell me the car gets better fuel economy haha.

Looking to get a 2010-2011 6MT RWD to replace my '13 Infiniti G37xS which gets roughly 16mpg in all city and does 25-26 on the highway. 19-21 in mixed...

I have been keeping records since my first fill up. After 26K miles in 3 years, I average about 21mpg which is about 80% city which is just about 300 miles per tank at about 15.5 gallons at fillup.

I have gotten nearly 400 miles on a tank on a road trip though.

So would you think there is a fairly noticeable MPG difference between the RWD and AWD 328s? Seems most of the cars that have posted were all automatic AWD and they were noticeably worse economically than your 6 speed.

I have a 325i N52 2.5L in Australia (AT ZF). I'm averaging about 10.5L/100KM which I believe is about 26 mpg that's mainly my commute to work and back in medium traffic. On a recent 1000 KM trip I god almost 45 MPG or 6.5/7L per 100 KM.

E93 328i: ~28 on highway, low as averaging 13.5mpg in town. Numbers taken from the car's display.

Last check on the car's readout my overall on my 328i MT was 18.9. Most of my driving is very short hops, a/c blasting even when the top is down. Car has almost 31K on the odometer. When I do get to air it out on the open road I've gotten 30.5 mpg out of it.

Since I installed the Performance Exhaust I've forgotten to track my mpgs.

(I don't know and I don't want to know!)

With mostly suburb and highway use, my 2007 6 MT 328i wagon has ranged from 19.0 to 29.6 mph with an overall average of 24.1. This is true calculated mileage; the OBC is about 2 1/2% optimistic.
