Air con resistor

Could someone tell me where to find the resistor for the aircon in my
730 I/L e38 please . how can you tell if they are kaput

Mein Auto: 2001 BMW 735i
The resistor pack sits on top of the a/c blower motor, which is right up near the windscreen under the dash pad. It's a major PITA to replace, requiring several hours of effort and the removal and refitment of a number of components on and under the dash, as well as the dash pad itself.

Symptoms of a failed resistor are no fan at any speed setting.

What symptoms are you having? Also, what year is your car? The fuses change on the later model E38's.
