Unhappy Wheels???!!!

Guys--

First time buying wheels for my 2011 335i.

I'm looking at these:

Forgestar F14 Wheels for BMW 19x9 ET20/19x10 ET20 Semi-Gloss Gunmetal Super Deep Concave

Is this a good buy? Should I use spacers?

I'm really lost -- help?

Those look good. What rims are you running right now?

Hey, I have the stock sport wheels for the 335i. I would have to get back to you on the actual model wheel.

Wheels???!!!

I think off set seems aggressive for e90 335i. Normally with 9/10" rims et 35 in front and et 38 in the back is recommended. Fender rolling will be required for the set up. What tire sizes are you planning on using?

Wheels???!!!

I mean 235/35 and 265/30? But I think 20 offsets are more for m3 as it has wider fenders. Are you looking for very aggressive look like rims sticking out a little bit? Cuz the offset tells you how far out the rims going to be. Lower the offset outer the rim/ tire going to be. Try e90 forums as it has a lot of detailed info with pictures for e90s. You don't want to buy the rims and than have to do body work to get them to fit.

I have a 09 lci 335i e90. I use to have avant garde m359 rims. 19x9 and 19x10 With 235/35 19 et 35 in front and 275/35 19 et 38 in the back. Michelin pilot super sports. I rolled my fenders when I ran 275/35 19 size tires. As I was really close to the body.

I believe if you go with a "race" setup you are forces to have summer/performance tires, can't run all season or winter tires on stock rims...if you drive it in winter you need an extra pair, or if you don't have winter season don't worry about it

Great buy!

Just one detail....are they speed rated to 150 mph like BMW wheels?

That might be somewhat important.

Congrats on taking the first step! You could not have made a better choice! The Forgestar Wheels are a perfect option for your 335i. They are a super lightweight rotary forged 1-piece wheel. The wheels are typically completelty built from scratch but we have a handful of sets pre drilled and powdercoated so you have no lead time!

The fitment you chose is actually wrong for the e9x non-m cars. That fitment with the 20 offset is build for the e9x M3. We have another set up in stock which is actually for the 328i/335i. You can find it here Forgestar F14 Wheels.

If you wanted the semi concave front and super deep concave rear like the link you originally selected you would need to have them built for you as they are not sitting on the shelf. The typical build time is 6-8 weeks for completion! We are gonna have some great deals on these wheels coming up so please let me know if you have any further questions! Good luck on the wheel search!

Glad you found the info! The wheels actually can be built to fit your car, the are a 19x10 et.30 which is what we build for the rears on the E92 328i or 335i, so fear not...you too can have this look! Let me know if you have any further questions!

Its actually a 335i but the fitment is the same on both cars. That the 19x8.5 fronts and 19x10 rears. Thats not the 19x10 et.38 (that fitment is for the standard deep concave).

Response coming your way!

Not sure if serious. Tires are speed rated but I never heard of a wheel being speed rated.

Re: Wheels???!!!

It's true. Cheap wheels can self destruct at high speed just like tires. Weight is another consideration. The weight of a wheel/tire combo affects suspension and braking performance. BMW factory wheels are expensive for a reason. Not criticizing aftermarket wheels. You just need to find the right ones!
