Oil Pressure Code is dated

Can anyone please tell me why it is dated?
We are having our oil changed today, it was 2 months past due, I know stupid. Got incredible busy and put it off, last night the oil pressure light came on and said -1900. The oil level was good. We topped it off anyways and I was playing around with the codes and the red pressure light turned off. Now it says 11/2015. does anyone know why this would happen. Sorry for what could be a dumb question. I have a 2007 328i bmw that just went out of warranty 09/2013. Thank you for your help.

Can't say why, but I do know that a red oil pressure light is not a good thing to see. This usually indicates a significant drop in oil pressure. It's possible that the oil sensor might be defective but you should check it out at your local indy to be safe.

Thank you.
They could find nothing wrong today. The light is now off. I guess I am hoping it is ok.

First of all, -1900 is a mileage, it's not a pressure reading.

What you saw on your dash was your service indicator for an oil change. After messing around with the stalk, you most likely reset the service interval. Why the interval is 2 years in the future, idk. Maybe you read it wrong and it was for something like emissions or brake FLUID, not pads/rotors.

EDIT: Actually, I think you mistook the brake fluid symbol for a pad/rotor change symbol.

Did the symbol look like this? This is brake fluid, not pressure.
