328i e90 exhaust question

I would like t put an m3 rear bumper, but its a quad exhaust and I only have 2 to the left. Is it possible to make a quad exhaust without having to buy a whole new exhaust, I have the stock exhaust, and how much would it cost?

Sure it's possible - search for options, Google.

But is it important? No performance benefit - you can't see it when you drive - you're much better off making mods that'll increase capability....??

There isn't much to increase, for power for this car. If you can give some mods that are worth it for the price I will look into it.

I have a feeling Cal is talking about suspension mods. The 328i is plenty fast to have fun it, even more fun when you can take it round corners.

They make the M sport rear bumpers for the 328. An M3 bumper wont fit on your car.

Test drive M3. Take around a corner. Faster....

Then, return to yours. See? You can have that!

Now that you mention it, when I corner i do slide alot, would a suspension kit greatly improve the handling. (I don't want to lower the car because its the exact height were i can go over the parking block without scratching the car)

Your car's suspension is same as M3 but with inferior parts. Economically, you wouldn't go all the way, but replacing suspension arms, rear subframe bushings, sways with M3 parts, you'll have a ride head and shoulders above the rest. Shocks & springs too - be sure they're matched. Can config for the sort of ride & capability you want.

Oops! Hugely important, and prerequisite to rear M3 sway as well as great handling, is a Limited Slip Differential - Wavetrac [USA] and Quaife [England] work well.

You're not replacing knuckles & bearing carriers; subframes....small benefit; large cost.

What more can I say? The change is stunning - you'll be hard pressed to find a limit on public roads - I haven't....
