Which Angel Eyes to get

So someone hit my car in a parking log and luckily they broke my headlights so I'm gonna try and upgrade to angel eyes on the cheap. Any suggestions for which ones to get for a 2008 329i?

Go with oem. If insurance is paying, they should reimburse you for OEM parts.

Check out umnitza.com and eBay seller fishcake321. They're cheap, offer decent quality, but don't expect OEM performance.

my car doesn't have angel eyes on it now so insurance will only pay for replacement regular headlights, thanks for the hints. Fdriller9, are those the black ones on your car?

We offer kits with projectors that are better than what is on ebay and equal to what is on eBay. Feel free to give us a call.

I looked at your site and I don't see anything for the E90 just the E60/E92 and some earlier models

You can ask them to write you a check, then spend the money to get oem xenon headlights with angel eyes.

Personally, I would stick with OEM if you can. Aftermarket has it's headaches as does an oem retrofit. But the DEPO headlights that vendors sell have poor projector bowl quality and as a result, light output suffers.

My headlights are OEM bi-xenon adaptive headlights. I cut them open, glued about 300 SMD LEDs behind the OEM rings, added a microprocessor to control the brightness of the angel eyes via a photo transistor, and painted the amber black. The angel eyes dim when it's dark out and brighten up to full brightness in direct sunlight.

You were probably looking at the angel eyes only section.

It's as fast as a 335 without the turbos. Rare find.

Yeah, no kidding. The halogens are so bad, I can't imagine the Depo lights being worse.

Never said they are worse than halogens. They are an improvement over the halogen setup.

However if you compare the quality and output of the depo set to an oem set, even better aftermarket projector, you can see the difference is beam pattern/output.

Agreed, this really is a case where you get what you pay for.

Of you're referring to new housings with LED corona rings, your best bet may be to go to an independent shop as some BMW dealers may give you some grief about installing aftermarket lights on the car.

If you order the Projector90 that we offer which is based on the DEPO headlights with the FXR retrofit (V3 with 2.5" lenses) then you will have the best light output at a reasonable cost.
