CPO warranty expiring: Standard Scope Service or Vehicle Check?

Hi,

I am taking my car in the end of the week for brake system flush and oil change. Since the CPO warranty will expire next month, I was wondering if it's worth getting some additional services.

I see the service website gives the options of "Standard Scope Service" and "Vehicle Check". Standard Scope will read the fault codes from the memory I was told, and Vehicle Check seems to be a standard visual inspection of the vehicle. I currently don't have any warning or error indicators on in the car.

Would either one or both of these items be advisable in light of the expiring CPO warranty (e.g. they may find something they cover), or is it waste of money if I currently have no issues? Thanks!

BMW recommends the "Vehicle Check" or "Inspection" service every 30,000 miles. In addition to the scope and visual and mechanical checks, it includes a road test. When was it last done?

Probably hasn't been done since I bought the car in 2010 with 24,000 miles as a CPO.

So it sounds like it may be good idea to do the vehicle check, but not the standard scope check (since car doesn't show any warning lights). The question I pretty much have is whether BMW could find something and fix it under CPO. Not sure what this vehicle check comprises. If it's just kicking the tires and checking the fluid levesl, I can do that myself.
