Hey Iam just asking. Time for change. Good to see old names here. Hey I think they can pretty much close down the X5 lounge. NOTHING going on there.

Hey Carl! (Or is it Karl? Sorry I spelled it wrong in the e-mail I sent you.) Good to see you over here. You're one of the elite 4.8is members here.

I do check the old lounge once in a while and I can only hear the sounds of crickets. Nothing going on there anymore. Amazing what a motivated and coordinated force can achieve.

We're glad to have you here with us.

I'm glad to see that you made the migration without being eaten by crocodiles while crossing the river Did you ever decide what you are going to do about installing NavTV?

Take care,
Greg

AZ is great. I'm all settled in now. I have been here for a month now. New furniture, new home theater system, couple of new appliances etc... I absolutely love my neighborhood. Really cute babe next door as my neighbor too I went out to a trendy new club in Scottsdale last weekend. Very chic place, kinda like Miami South Beach. Seemed like every other chick there had fake tata's. I thought CA was bad, dang, this is silicone heaven The house is huge. Twice as big as my place in CA. Zema loves the new backyard too.

Did you move in your new place yet? Congrats btw.

All in all, it was a great move. The housing market in OC, CA since I left is taking a dive. I sold at the bubble, and not a second too soon.

Greg

Supah Greg..... Question for you.

I am going to Az (Phx, I think) for T-Day this year with the Mrs. to see he Uncle that lives out there....

From what you have experienced, do you think driving or flying from LA would be best? How is the drive and how long does it take?

Thoughts?

Cool, we should definately hook up. Do you know where in PHX? It took me 5.5 hours to hit the PHX city limits, then another to make it through rush hour traffic down to Chandler. For you on T-day weekend, probably a 6.5 to 7 hour trip. If you can find a cheap fare, fly. You are only in the air for about an hour. Much easier on a holiday weekend.

Cool... I'll let you know where I will be heading.....

Not sure if I want to take the X. I know it will do well on the road, but not sure if I want to cruise at 4750k RPM for 6 hours.....

I just hate flying - hate airports - hate the waiting around.... I always prefer to drive to Vegas instead of flying, so I assumed I would probably feel the same about the trip to Phx.

Thanks for the input - we'll talk again before I go....

Fly out of Long Beach airport. Very small airport, no hassles like the big airports. You're in and out. BadaBing, BadaBoom

Is this where the Roadfly crew migrated to?

Roadfly X5 board is dead quiet. Damn shame, it was an awesome board. Looks to me like the Bimmerfest rules don't allow porn either. Will there be Freaky Friday tomorrow??????????????

Give me a shout when you're planning your trip, if you drive. You will have to take I-10 so you'll drive right past me on your way to Phoenix. You've got to stop for a meal some time. Why not here? E-mail or PM me if you want some details.

Hey Greg, I love AZ! I have to get out there to renew my CCW permit! Chandler was the place I took my training there - next to Mesa!
