Hello everyone, my name is Gavin, and I am in need of an oil pan for my car. I just got it, and a giant dip came out of no where and ruined my life. I don't have a lot of money, and I am having a tough time finding one. Any help would be greatly appreciated. All I can think of is a pick a part and wish for it to be there.

Thanks everyone,

Gavin

You might try http://firstfives.org/, but there is not much activity there.
You could post a "want to buy" note at http://www.mye28.com/viewforum.php?f=4 - quite a few E12 owners there.

Part 11131260791 (Oil Pan) was found on the following vehicles:
E12 528i Sedan
E12 530i Sedan

E3 2800 Sedan
E3 2800Bav Sedan
E3 3.0S Sedan
E3 3.0SBav Sedan
E3 3.0Si Sedan

E9 3.0CS Coupe

If it is any solace, it should not be too bad a job to replace. I had the same thing happen to my '76 530i years ago. As I'm sure you know you will also need to replace the gasket, and if I recall you will need to drop the drive shaft, thus it's a good time to inspect the guibo and replace if necessary.
