32w angel eyes 335i

Just got some new 32w angel eyes!! They only cost me $60 bucks and they look pretty dope when the sun doesn't hit the lights directly like most brands of course, even those 200$ brands. Now remember the angel eyes flicker while using my phones camera so the best shots were impossible! By the wAy they look crystallized white, with a blueish tint in person. I think I'm going to return them though I want brighter ones in the sun !!

Did you install them your self or did your mechanic?

Myself, I had a 5 series before so I kind of knew the ropes, it took me like 15 minutes. I looked on YouTube just to make sure .

I want to do the same thing with the angle eyes. Did you have to unscrew a lot of stuff to get to the headlights?

No, just use a flathead screw driver to open the cap from your headlights and you'll see the bulb. Then twist off old bulb, and put new Led bulb.

What year is your 335i? I thought it required removing the wheel and going in from behind?

It depends on the year of your car, my car is a 2008 coupe, my car has daytime running lights, which means at night or day the angel eyes will always be on wether I turn on my headlights or not !! So when I turn on my car without turning the headlights on, only the angel eyes will turn on, not the yellow parking lights. But if I want to have my fog lights and angel eyes on at the same time, no matter what those yellow lights will turn on

Not really, this is certainly a time consuming, but not difficult task.

Just changed my drive side headlight today and it is the most obnoxious thing to do. How small do your hands have to be to fit underneath the wheel to get into the back of the light. Italian have big hands good lord germans must have some small mitts .

Amber side markers can be coded off and set to function only as turn signals, not parking lights.

Read up in the coding section. Or bmwcoding.com

I tried turning off the parking lights but I couldn't on my 08, maybe I'm missing something idk, maybe only newer models can turn them off idk either.
I got them on ebay, they don't flicker at start up and they're the best after market angel eyes I've seen in OC , especially when sun is going away.
