Just tried to inspect my recirculation air filters. Couldn't find them, even after looking at photos and reading howto's.

Epic fail.

Found the recirc filters! Yuck...

Being a cheapskate, I bought some filter material at Home Depot:

Finally fixed the AC. "New to me" compressor, new drier, new expansion valve, new O-rings all around.

Just finished installing the rear springs, the fronts were done on Friday. The H&R springs of choice were the 1.3F /.5 R. The reason for the replacement was that the car leaned to one side by 5/8"

Temporarily fixed the auxiliary fan. The "stage 1" resistor was dead, so I shorted together "stage 1" and "stage 2" pins. That way I will have aux fan when the AC comes on, although it will be louder than normal.

Thanks!

Unfortunately, she (or rather "he", since it has a driveshaft) will never be new again. Not with my budget. But I'm trying to fix as many things as I can spend time and money on.

The air conditioner was kind of a top priority here in Florida. I'm glad I got it working, I was getting tired of the wind noise driving around with the windows rolled down.

Next on the list is the dreaded "60mph shimmy". I got some parts on order, stay tuned!
