Changed lightbulbs in the instrument cluster (not all of them, just the lower 5 that you can get without taking the cluster apart).

I'm afraid I will have to do the same eventually. The previous owner ran the car on tap water for a while (it had a badly leaking cooling system).

Did you replace any parts (O-rings, gaskets...) or just cleaned them?

Added another cup of coolant. Still have a slow leak somewhere, but have no time/money/desire to find and fix it just yet.

When I do find the time/money/desire, I will rebuild the heater valves as well.

I just got a replacement windshield washer pump in the mail... but haven't installed it yet because I had to fix my laptop first:

I didn't do a very clean job soldering the mini-PCIe connector, but it works and that's all that matters. Plus, no one will ever see it.

Milestone! No more error messages on my dashboard!!!

The last error was "WASHER FLUID LOW" - which I fixed by replacing the leaking pump.

Re: Post your "what did you do to your e38 today" thread

I replaced the left turn signal bulb. Not anything major but it was something My check engine light came back on so I went and checked it out at Advance Auto. I was throwing a code for a speed sensor whatever that means I also went to a junkyard trying to scout out some interior pieces. I found some which I might go pick up tomorrow.. Here is the poor car I am going to get the trim pieces from and the scan tool showing the code I threw. Peace.
