For C2C6, anybody bringing one of the new models such as a 4 series, M235i, M3/M4, etc.? With the M3/M4, I know the timeline for customer deliveries would be late June but if the manufacturing and shipment process aligns just right, anything could be possible.

I have a deposit on an M4 but I don't expect it to be built until after C2C6.

I am looking at the new M235i, but it's going to be later this year for c2c7

Now wait a second, Captain. First, you say (more or less quoting): "I shall never purchase another BMW after this horrible 335i suspension fiasco!" and then you go on getting a 7er and have a M4 in the pipeline? I know hell froze over a few weeks ago, but what happened?

I make or may not take delivery of the M4 and am still considering alternatives (including keeping the 335i now that the lousy suspension has been re-engineered).

I'm looking into the M235, but won't be until later. Right now my CA said they come out do dealer allotment, which isn't always the lowest price. As I still love my 335 I can wait for the shift in allotments and lower cost.

Wait, you succumbed to the allure of the M division? I thought you'd never get one as it's "too much street car and not enough track car!"

Oh my!

I may or may not take delivery.

I will not decide until I have had an extensive test drive. I am not going to make the same mistake I did with the 335i.

It's a good plan, I'm eagerly anticipating the CA review. I hope you keep the 335 regardless of another purchase. It's a great car.

I love the technical specs. of the new M3/M4 but the front end design precludes me from even considering the car, mainly due to the hood line.

I agree with your assessment on the frond end. Perhaps it will grow on me or enough enhancements will be made at the LCI stage. I do love the interior upgrades. Some of the price guides have been released and even with the option packages considered, it is close to the older E9x series. For now I continue to enjoy my relic with it's NA engine and dated interior...

I would love to see a M235i. With the optional LSD, I bet it would be a fun car to drive. What configuration are you considering?

Some "relic" that is. I love the clean, simple interior lines of the E9X series. For the M3, the engine is the big story, in my opinion. A high-revving, NA engine is something we'll probably never get again, in the M3. Sure the car is a tad heavy and thirsty but so what...
If I were you, I'd keep it and, get the new M3/4, as long as the LCI fixes the atrocious hood line.

Until then, I hope you show up at C2C6 with a screaming performance exhaust. Drinks are on me if you can rattle few windows!

I'll promise to park next to NHMan and let him rattle the windows of my Cab with his performance exhaust. Who knows, maybe even the PE on the E93 will provide some supportive harmony.

I am still weighting in my options since my current lease maturity is in October of this year.
I will definitely get the heated steering wheel this time haha.

I can't wait to hear the PE in person since I'm considering getting one myself, as you know.

CA does this help? Here is a view of the M4 suspension (note the Eibach Performance springs):

Furball - I take it this will, indeed, be your next car!

Captain - do we have a preliminary attendee list? Look us up if you need brochures to be printed again. Yes, I'm awfully early but I'm already liking forward to this year's event.

I have not yet seen posts from some of the repeat offenders. Don't you dare get cold feet!

We have our room reserved for Mt. Washington on Saturday night and all plans are in forward motion for being at the event this year with the E93 (finally!!!!)

The E93 is good to go, but I've been holding off submitting my official registration until I get through my upcoming neck surgery (next week) and know that I am good to go as well.

Thanks for the good wishes.

Besides, you and Mrs. Bemo might need some instrumental backup for your charity duet and I was going to offer you my paltry musical talents if you were interested.
