Hit 100k Miles!

Hey guys so yesterday I put my car into winter mode and on my way back to Philly, I hit 100k miles! First car I've had that went past 100k. I've only owned 2 cars lol but the last one I sold at 98k miles.

Here's a shot of my ODO and a picture I took as I was pulling off the highway. Rolled over to 100000 just as I pulled into the parking lot.

Hit 100k Miles!

Let's hear the 100k report and congrats, by the way!
Aside from maintenance items (tires, fluids, plugs, etc.), how much in total have you spent on maintenance, to date?

Congrats, I am 52k miles ahead of you.
Are ignition coils, brake pads, rotor, shocks considered maintenance items?

Ignition coils shouldn't fail, but it does get hot in there sometimes and melt the insulation. The others are maintenance items for sure.

I would say yes, ign coils are something you would just normally replace as they go but they do go out on any car.

With the proper care you might catch up to me @ 225k on the E46 and 275k on the E30, both BMW's in perfect running order like the day out of the show room, and look great,

Not sure to be honest. Only major thing was the water pump which was only about $350. I installed it myself. Also had to replace 2 wheel bearings, one due to an accident. Both cost about $800 both times. One due to accident was paid for by the other party's insurance. The other one was seized in the knuckle so the whole knuckle had to be replaced.

Other than that, the other major issues were covered under warranty. I had my AC blower motor replaced. Engine head was swapped out.

I replaced my struts/shocks with H&R coilovers around 80k miles. So that set me back $1200. Installed myself so no labor. The oem suspension was shot so it needed to be replaced anyway, why not upgrade?

Next move is to replace all the bushings. Should be around $1000 in parts, which includes some M3 bits. I work for a shop so parts are bit cheaper.
