2011 328i shaking around 1800 rpm

I just bought a 2011 328i with 35k miles on it. Drives great but recently it has started "shaking" right between 1500-2000rpms. I hadn't noticed it until my husband was driving and I was sitting in the passenger seat. I started to feel evident vibrations and we watched as he accelerated that it only occurred between the above mentioned rpms. Any known causes as to why?

Also on a side note we have our iPhone plugged into the USB port and have been listening to music through the iPod function. All of a sudden the radio display goes black for a few seconds and comes back on with the radio on. Comments?

It sounds like the symptoms I had. It took 2 bouts of "programming" at the dealer for this to go away. Usually I had intermittent rough idle on cold start, or rough idle in the 1500-2000RPM range, immediately upon drive off, following a cold start. Of course, it could be intake valve solenoids, and a plethora of other potential explanations. Unless you're handy and can read codes, it's best to just take the car in for an inspection...
