335i M sport wheel size?

Looked at a 2011 335 x drive coupe today. It has the M Sport package.

The wheels on the car are 17". I thought the M Sport package included 18" wheels as standard?

The wheels do have th BMW "M" logo on them.

No.
For me, unfortunately I had to "settle" for 17's because I just missed the cut-off in closing the line last May. I really wanted 18's, and the dealer wouldn't budge. The 194m's are M-sports and don't look all that bad-- and they have all-season run flat Conti's so I won't have to switch them out for the winter. My plan is to get some 189's or 193m's with go flat Pilot Sports in the spring.

Correct, xi comes with 17" wheels with sport or m-sport packages standard and 18's are optional.

Got it. Does look like they are 194M wheels. Not terrible looking and not really a bad option for me. I live in Michigan and my toy car in the summer is an 89 Porsche 911. So winter and lousy road conditions mean 17" reallly aren't a bad option - much of my use of the car will be cold weather, winter and rainy days. Car would definitely look better with 18" or 19" though.

Mostly I wanted to be sure they were at least the appropriate factory wheels for the car and not something the previous owner changed out.

Thanks for the info. May end up buying this car tomorrow.

First snow, sleet of the season here and boy am I'm glad I went with the xi -- as opposed to the is. She handled admirably.
Let us know when you close the deal. And with pics, natch.

They will be a good size for snow tires and then you can pickup some 18's or 19's for summer tires!

Yep. That's exactly what I am thinking - one set of wheels/tires for each season.

In negotiations now for the 335. Should know today if it is a go.
