Question mechanical issue

Hello guys
I have a problem
I have e36 1996 with 2000cc vanos engine
And I need a catalyst for it
And I can't found it in my country
So am wondering to knw if I can use any one for another brand and if that possible is that give me the same performance

What makes you think you need to replace the catalytic converter?

What kind of aftermarket catalytic converters ARE available where you are?

Maybe we have some heavy American brands and like ford shevrolat
Allso toyota nissan hyndai

Any for a car with as large an engine or larger should work, as long as you can make the pipe fit.

If it will physically fit, it should work. It may not work perfectly, but some is better than nothing.
