Nice. I just got a watch yesterday. Didn't see this one. How does it feel? Is it automatic? Shame you can't see the inner workings (i like those kind)

If it's an auto and it quits a lot, you'll be told that you have an "unfavorable wearing style".

If it's a quartz movement, be prepared for those hefty dealer fees to have the watch's IBS reprogrammed for the CR23 battery it takes. Oh yes, BMW uses IBS in their watches too.

I wonder why they use that brand name "BALL" I never heard of it. But again I am not watch enthusiast.

Tape it on your dash while driving so you know what time it is in New York.

When you replace the battery you will have to bring it in to BMW to have it registered. If you don't use a BMW battery the warranty will be voided. A new battery will be $245. The mainspring will fail if you check the time in a spirited manner. BMW will issue an extended 10 year warranty on the mainspring.

I think the biggest difference between a BMW watch and all of the others, is that the BMW watch has a run-flat wristband.

...which everyone who buys one immediately replaces to avoid the unpleasant and jarring effect of feeling the ticks of the second hand.

There as an ASS mod you can get. It's not perfect and requires you to keep it on your nightstand. Make sure to use approved table matting to protect the table.

Ball is a high end swiss watch maker. They just don't have the popular name. I was looking at some on Sunday but didn't see this one or one that I liked.

Cool watch.

But I understand they feel lifeless and dull on the wrist.

You should wait for the update. It brings the watch to life.
