God's Chariot. The E30 was produced primarily from 1982 through 1991. The cabriolet was the one exception which was produced through 1993.

Advice for Selling 88 325c

We just pulled the trigger on a new 2013 335 convertible, which makes our 88 325 convertible hard to justify. Therefore we have decided with mixed emotions to part with her. That said, I am at a loss as to the best way to sell her. It's been a long time since I've sold a car on my own. I tried unsuccessfully to sell an audi on AutoTrader and feel it's become a waste of time and energy. Our 88 325 has been pampered, garaged and even covered in the garage when not in use. Timing belt already done early, under 100K original miles and we are only the second owner. Any suggestions as the best place and method to sell her would be very appreciated. I've got about $11K into her and any suggestions as to fair price would also be appreciated. Thanks!

the only advice i could say is do a local advertisement in the paper or craigslist. another good way is to enter it into car shows and put a sale sign in the window.

since the car is super clean and low mileage, asking price could be between 4500-6000 depending on you local scene and how many tire kickers you have
I know a lot about cars. I can look at a car's headlights and tell you exactly which way it's coming

I'm thinking West Palm Beach, Boca you should ask 8500 min in South East Florida. Convertibles always sell better in FL and CA than in other parts of the country .I've only seen a few pics and if this car has SVC records and runs as good as it looks you may want to ask a bit more .Try looking on Craigslist in Miami and Boca areas. Also you should ask your mechanic what they think I assume you take it some where that works on BMWs since there are many independent BMW shops in South Florida.Craigs List is a good way to sell the car or you can try EBay Local Classifieds which will cost you, but may sell the car if your not having any luck with CL.

Great looking car. It's hard to say what someone will pay for it but it sure looks like a clean example. I've sold a few specialty vehicles in the last 5 years and I have had nothing but headaches advertising them locally and on craigslist. eBay would be my suggestion. I sold an old FJ40 I had owned and restored over the last 12 years back in June and although the winner of the auction was a dud the next guy in line took it and I had 3-4 more people lined up behind him that were serious. Do a good write up outlining all the service history and every little nitpicky thing you can think of and take a ton of good photos.
