Well this is exactly my point on my post above. There really isn't a point in building this car up unless it's like your dream car which was my case.... I own my most favorite car in the world since I ever saw it come out in 99.

Why not an LS in the E46? You can buy the engine and transmission from Chevrolet directly for $13,000 and make far more horsepower than what you're anticipating.

If you buy the turbo build kit and the Stage 2 or 3 head from VAC Motorsports, you can piece together your turbo hardware for cheaper than you can buy the Technique Tuning kit.

EDIT: Chevrolet crate engines can be found here: http://www.chevrolet.com/performance/crate-engines.html

Connect and Cruise LS3 - $13,656.04

First of all, I'm not dumb. Second, don't come around being a jackass. Third, I've built more cars than a few bucko. So I HAVE done it. You still make no sense

Isn't this the part where you tell him to take his cash and car to a performance shop and say, "Make my car fast"?

If he has $15k, that is what I'd do.

You might not be dumb but what you said was pretty retarded lol. I'm not trying to be a jackass here I asked specific questions and you reply....."its as easy as bolting on your hardware and going". Like pffftt I don't know much about engines and performance parts but I am full of logic and that comment wasn't logical or helpful, hence my reply. I don't doubt you have built many cars/engines....who's the one making this personal now and being a jackass? And how am I not making sense???

Sounds like cash money is used to mazdas or some other kind of poorly built economy car... this BMW is strong enough to accept any of the mentioned bolt on kits WITHOUT HAVING TO STRENGTHEN ANYTHING. Am I correct?

You are and you aren't correct. The car was build to handle the power it came with. When you add 100+ hp things are going to start to break no matter what.

Correct to a degree. That is, however, assuming you don't crank the boost up to 14 PSI. Keeping it around 6 to 8 PSI should be perfectly fine. Granted, things are going to be going under extra stress, so you always have to plan for the worst.

My car ran completely fine with no issues at 6psi bolt on kit. It didn't start having issues until I put the intercooler, water & meth kit, 8-10psi pulley and 103 octane in it.

Endat, I don't know much yet about engines, but I do know I wouldn't spit out a comment without knowing my shiznit and then following up with a weak display of confidence by asking everyone if youre right!!! Lmao

obviously

cash money, i dont own a workshop and I don't work on cars professionally so I wouldn't give someone expensive advice without being sure, but I do know my "shiznit" to a certain degree.. maybe you should just take it to a shop because even if someone gave you a step by step walkthrough with pictures and videos, you don't sound smart enough to pull it off anyway "lmao"

I basically tested everything out for everyone on the forums on what everyone speculated. I eventually achieved a 100% working boosted BMW. But I documented every issue that goes wrong when you don't do it the right way.

Well in that case if you want to achieve 14+psi you'll definitely need a turbo kit and that'll cost about 25k to do it right.

It's the best Audi S4 ever made. It was released during the same time as the E46 M3. My girlfriend has a Stage 2 Audi B5 S4. We plan to Stage 3 it soon as she saved enough money.
Then I'll let her drive either of my cars while I drive hers

You can buy one for around 5-8k and another 2k to stage 3 it and make it extremely ****ing fast. Remember it's AWD so it's a totally different world when your talking power...

You can see my girlfriends Audi S4 in the first video. It's the two tone black and gray one in the front

And this is my gfs S4 before we did straight pipes, limo tint, tune and bypass valves.

p.s. Every time I drive my friends S4 I want a turboed car SO damn bad. The sounds it makes are just heavenly.

Funny you say that. He sold it about 2 months ago. But he's also got a 1100hp s4 he's building also. That one was 480whp.
