There`s often a fine line between "Hobby" and "Mental Illness Combined With Fiscal Irresponsibility"....

(For the record, I`ve been on both sides of that line....)

1100hp.. thats real $hit. I know some guys here in texas who run high dollar races. Their talking 800+ hp.. you show up in a 500hp ride, and they dont bother racing you. hahah

If I have 325k on my engine and tranny, is it better for me to rebuild the original engine and tranny or buy a rebuilt?

Personally I'd buy another engine and trans and rebuild that one.

Bc someone told me that if my block and whatnot have lasted this long that they're obviously durable and to just rebuild them to the specs they need to be built to. I'm so lost in all this fml

How old are you? and how old is she? what part of Cali do you live in? do you already own a house and all the cars you want?.

After you answer those questions I can give you my opinion lol.

Yeah we told you it's not easy to do this and it's very time consuming. I mean if your engine is fine right now if you just did a rebuild with a VAC kit you should be good. As far as the transmission though... I've never rebuilt a transmission. I've always just bought used ones.

Bro just buy another engine and tranny like Malibu said. You can take your time building that engine nd tranny on the side while you can still drive your car.. Once your ready with the turbo setup that you want it will be easier to install it and might finish it in one day.

I helped my friend build a rice rocket for sh$its and giggles. It took us one day. By 11pm we were testing in the streets.. Two days later cops took his car..

Well buy an engine and transmission. Start your build and do your thing. Meanwhile you can still drive around your car. Then when your done with your build you just put in the engine and trans and your good to go.
