Back up camera?!

Has anyone installed a back up camera in their M5? I wanted to install it myself.

Also some links to a few good websites would be great too!

Thanks in advance!

ModMyNav front and rear camera setup here - couldn't be happier.

I got the front camera installed while I was at it. It has more than paid for itself. Whenever I pull into a parking lot or driveway, I turn it on and can see exactly how far away I am from curb stops. Our cars are pretty low, and I really want to preserve my front bumper as much as possible.

Yeah I like how yours isn't that noticeable. That's what I'm going for. I have a question, how do you get your front camera to come on, I would like my backing camera to switch on when put in reverse, but what about front camera?

Good question. That was another thing I liked about the ModMyNav setup - it uses the factory buttons, with nothing added to the interior to look aftermarket. I can either hold down the down arrow on the steering wheel or hold down the menu button. You can also use the down arrow to select between up to three different video sources, so you can have front camera, view rear camera while driving forward, and a DVD player. Factory use of the down arrow and menu button are all still there too.

Okay I know what your talking about now, I checked out modmynav a few weeks ago, and I think they were sold out, but I'll check again and continue with research, thanks for explaining that. I love that it uses factory buttons. I don't like to look of after market mods, that's why I don't want the camera to be noticeable. Again thank you and happy holidays.
Cheers
-Jeff
