"Engine Malfunction" Reduce Speed - 2010 X6

I suddenly got the "ENGINE MALFUNCTION" reduce speed on my 2010 X6 3.5 Had the vehicle towed to the dealership. They recommended reprogramming the car. Got a call to pick up a car and a bill for $162.00. Paid the bill, got in the car, started the engine and once I drove, literally, outside the dealership I got the error msg "CHASSIS MALFUNCTION". Turned around and gave it back to the service dept.

Based on the read up in the forum it does not look good. Some say ecu or injection gasket or spare plugs...etc. Any idea to what might the problem be and what causes this error message? Any of you experienced this on an X6?

Now, you may have to demand your SA (service advisor) to tell you exactly what they think is wrong with the car. Modern BMW has so many code stored when things go wrong. Good luck.
