Exclamation Tire Replacement!

I'm looking to buy a used tire but I can't seem to have any luck finding it, I need the rim to be the same one as in the picture, and the specs i got off the wheel is an Eagle RS-A P205/50R17 88V its the front right tire. I live in Maryland more specifically the Silver Spring area, any help would be extremely grateful! (Also the tire shown in the pic is beat to death and says 205 as well but no P what does the P mean? And this one says 93V I also don't know what that means)

P means passenger tire, the 93 or 88 are load ratings and the V or W designates speed ratings. The rim I believe is Styling 187. You'll be hard pressed to find a used one in short notice. You might be able to find one online.

Does it really matter if it has the P or not? Cause the rest of the tires on my car have the P on it. Yeah I know it's short notice, but any help is appreciated. Know any websites i could find it used?

Omg i'm sorry it's not the rim I'm entirely concerned about because i have an extra one to swap out, it's the tire that I'm looking for. Sorry for the confusion!

Doh!

I assumed you called a couple tires places in your area that sell used tires? Your best bet on short notice is to purchase the same size tire and throw that on one on the left rear. Save up some cash for a set of new tires in the meantime.

You have an XI. Read up...

This makes maintaining the vehicle manufacturer's recommended tire inflation pressures and using "matched" tires on all wheel positions necessary procedures to reduce strain on the vehicle's driveline. Using "matched" tires means all four tires are the same brand, design and tread depth. Mixing tire brands, tread designs and tread depths may cause components in the vehicle's driveline to fail.

The P means "passenger"...

A junk yard will sell you anything you want for cash ...

When I was a kid, I bought tires for $5 each (long time ago, different money) at a salvage yard.

Those tired all turned out to have a "flat spot" at speed (I don't know how to describe it but they looked good - but at speed, they collapsed in one spot such that drivers were honking at me and pointing at them).

I have a Falken 245/40 ZR17 in the garage that you can have. It's a rear tire from a staggered set up on my 325. I destroyed its mate at some point and replaced the set. The size isn't exactly what your looking for (its a little wider) but it will mount up and the price is right. You will have to come pick it up in Severna Park, about 1/2 hr away. PM me if you want it- Check that- I got the impression you where in Silver Spring- 1/2 hr away..
