Front right wheel squeak

Hey all!

my 2006 325i auto rwd has a strange issue.

the front right wheel squeaks when I reverse. it squeaks all the way thru. then when I drive forward it is fine. I jacked up the front end and tried to repeat it and could not find an issue. I even checked the rotor, it was smooth..... The bearing also seams fine, no play at all.

Any ideas? maybe someone with an e46 can help me out..... im a high mileage vehicle.... 202K!

On my list of things to change are...... starter motor, vcg, and oil pan gasket. I should be good for another 200K. Might change the engine mounts too......

But back to the main issue, any idea on what causes the squeaking, its oscillating with the rotating of the wheel.... all the suspension parts look great.....

Thanks!

Check for rocks or debris stuck between the rotor dust shield and rotor. Or even at the pads, but you should see a groove on the rotor.

Front right wheel squeak

I did.... When I jacked it up I spun the wheel both directions... It was silent... All the suspension/steering joints were fine... Not ripped or leaking....

Wheel was tight... Not sure what a bad wheel bearing sounds...
