E82 / E87 / E88 1 Series (2008 - 2013)
BMWs throw back to the iconic 2002, with a renewed form and function. The smallest car in BMW's line up but still packs a punch. Available in coupe or convertible, powered by a naturaly aspirated inline 6 in the 128 or the turbo twin power inline 6 rocket sled 135.

E82 speaker upgrade - Where is X9387 & X9388

I am installing the Alpine speaker upgrade kit for my 2010 E82 and am having troubles locating the splice (connector) X9387/X9388 that the manual talks about.

Does anyone know where it is? In the kick panel? next to the seat bolts? It must be uniform between cars. I unwrapped loads of tape and never found it.

Also, why are there 4 wires going to the under seat sub?

Under the driver's seat beneath the carpet. See attached.

There's 4 wires to each sub because they're likely self-powered (There's a mini amp inside that needs a voltage supply B+, B- and two signal wires from the radio).

try feeling around closer toward the sub under the seat. It was a pain for my husband and I ended up doing it because my hands are smaller.
Because I deserve the best!!!!!!
