Exclamation value of damaged 153k miles 06 330xi

I am still driving the car, the Adaptive light failure message comes on. No internal engine bay damage, hood opens/closes.
The headlight len's hood is cracked but I taped over for now to prevent water damage. I was thinking of repair the front (bumper, quarter panel, light unit) but then it might not be worth the trouble due to high miles.
I think NJ inspection just checks for emissions now (the lights still work just one of the beam shoots up to the sky like batman signal - I don't believe it's blinding the oncoming driver because of the sharp up angle).

Tough call. If you will try to sell as-is, you're going to take a big hit. Like a "I'll give you $3000 to take it off your hands".
Insurance? Who's fault was the collision?

Good Lord. Ship it here and I won't charge you a dime to take it off your hands.

It's all cosmetic damage which really hurts during a private sale or trade. I would fix it and keep it if it was my car. You can get parts from a wrecker or directly from BMW but first ask for jobber pricing to get wholesale even though it's quantity one discounting that you will get (15%). Then find a body shop that works in cash transactions. The final paint job also can be negotiated for a cash deal or if you luck out to find white body panels from a wreck you can touch up small areas using a pro style paint spray can from NAPA. They will do the custom paint match and the pro nozzle provides a perfect fan instead of a circle pattern.

It's then a perfect car, in my opinion. Every car needs some battle scars.
