I hate to get all serious on you guys but I think that everyone....

I think that everyone should view this very important comment on race relations in America, today. Please view all the way until the end, as that is the crux of the arguement.

The film is historically accurate...

...but the ending was a bit disappointing.

Notwithstanding, $200 for an oil change does seem excessive.

You're not just nuts, you're totally nuts :)

I think the answer is pretty black and white

Fascinating Stuff Adam!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thank you for the very insightful visualization of how the gross domestic product in urban neighbourhoods has dwindled over the last 12 years, especially in cities with 5 digit zip codes and streets with flat roofed houses. Moreover, I like how the author juxtaposed the concept of Starbucks and Tennessee Williams' "A Streetcar named Desire" in an effort to show how gourmet coffee shops are destined to fail in trailer parks.

Alps - you're right about the connect with T.W. and his beautiful retort against the class struggle as defined by the neo-existential proletariat, but keep in mind that it was Lenin who first said, "Let them swap out their headlights". Trotsky is often given that honor, but what, in fact he said, at the 9th Annual Bicentennial Celebration of Workers of The World United For the Discipline of Keeping On Keeping On in Motipur, India in 1934, in an interview with The Roundel, was, "I would only swap out the headlights if I didn't have to splice any wires". And that really shows you the shallowness of his uncritical thinking. But who knows these facts today and what unreason now runs rampant in the streets because of it? The answer , my friend, is you and me and we can make a difference that is beyond the here and now. It involes the actual re-wiring of internal ballasts - it is way beyond splicing. Life is not just duct tape and dead pedals. You have to remove a couple of interior panels to get to the heart of the matter. It starts with swapping out headlights. If we remember anything, we must remember that.

Peace in The Struggle to Keep It Real-to-Real.

I think Rodney King said it best, "Can't we all just get along?"
