XXX5 1st MODs post on bimmerfest!!

First MOD:
Newer X5 style euro headlights.
Bi-xenon, adaptive clear euro lights.
Part # 63-12-6-940-185 and 186
These numbers corresponds to the entire headlight assembly. The units also come with chrome style signal bulbs and OEM high beam H4s and the fancy bulbs for the AE's.
You still have to swap out the xenon’s, ballasts and the adaptive control modules if previously equipped.
Retail is $1400 shipped via DHL from Germany for these bad boys, but imo there worth every penny.

By the way, the previous headlights are for sale if anyone’s interested.

Second MOD:
Hamann Pedal kit
Personally I think they blend well w/ the al/running boards.

Brought to you by MODweekend

Thanks Kewl.

You mean the entire unit? Yes as this mod was swapping out the entire headlight assembly.

Such a simple change, an expensive change, but boy, what an incredible result. Looks awesome BUT...

My keen eye noticed that someone has a door panel removed which leads me to ask...

What's next???

Great MODs, Ed. Those lights are killer, no doubt. Expensive, but you did it right, OEM euro style. Tight.

And, those Hamann pedals really complement the aluminum running boards quite nicely.

Would have liked to have seen your magnficent ride in person at the BavAuto Show & Shine. Someday, I hope.

Thumbs up Very nice indeed...

Fantastic job Ed !! That front end looks really clean and tight now. I really like your new pedals as well. I like them much more than the ACS ones. Everyone always complains that the dead pedal ACS cover is too short because it's made for the E46 I think. It looks like that one is the "correct" length. Is it? They are very sharp indeed. I would also go so far as to say "unique" since I have not seen any Hamann pedals posted here yet. I'm assuming you are just re-installing the speakers from the "X" ride? That was a nice set up, nice to see you re-using them. So have you been driving that thing to show off the new look?

Verbalkint: Thanks man. Hopefully sooner then Bavarians 2005 S&S

mattsoldo: Thanks man. The pedals are from Bavarian auto shop

Rangerfan: Thanks man. The only concern when installing the pedals is making sure the holes are drilled straight. Or the sunken screws will not line up right, other than that, very simple install.

x5Monkey®: Thanks Cuz. How are things with you and fam? Hope all is well bro. Shoot me an email.

Josh03SGM3: Thanks bro. Deff hook up on Sat. No doubt bro.

SuperGreg: Thanks Greg. I'm worse then you. 3 months old and only 681miles

mahegogo: Thanks man. The lights are from our supplier. At the time of that Nav-TV install proper cable were not available. Though now many companies supply the proper length for appropriate install. No fancy splicing required. Much more info can be found on www.X5world.com.

Moto Trex: Thank ya sir.

GUINNESS: Thank ya sir. Next MODs are speaker upgrades and sound deadening materials.
Good Luck with them window regs. Such a BS design.

TQ2K: Thanks man. Responded to your message.

Jan: Thanks ya sir. Will deff have to hook up sometime soon.

X5M5: Thanks Chris.

Q: Those Hamann pedals look quite sharp but do they have rubber inserts like the ACS's? I'm not sure if those small black holes have them? I find my ACS pedals give me a really good traction. Anyways, they're very unique since almost everybody has ACS.
Thanks Ed.
