trouble starting/ ignition barrell/switch

hi there, im having trouble starting the car with the key in the ignitiion barrell. sometimes i have to try a lot of times. i wondered if its the barrell or maybe the switch behind it. if anyone knows what im talking about would really appreciate it if you could help.

It's rather common and has been discussed on the www.Mye28.com forum. Go there and do a search, you should find the info that you need.
