Anne Hathaway imports BMW i3 for hubby

What do you do, if you really want a BMW i3 and don't feel like waiting until the second quarter of this year? If you're the husband of a famous actress, you can just have her import on for you.

The i3 has been available in Europe since November. However, Anne Hathaway recently imported an i3 as a Christmas present for her jewelry designer husband, Adam Shulman. Shulman was spotted running errands in Los Angeles after Christmas with his new i3.

BMW's electric i3 seems like the proper choice for Hathaway, who is known to support environmentally friendly initiatives.

Must be nice to not have to wait with everyone else.

Check out CNET's complete review of the i3 here!

No front plate. . .

I wonder what they did to get around DOT? Importing new EU cars into the US is nearly impossible for US residents. Maybe they got someone to do a temporary tourist import for them.
The models and equipment (standard and optional) illustrated in this post reflect my misunderstanding of vehicles supplied by BMW AG to the German market. In other EU member states, the truthyness of my posts may vary. Please ignore this post. Subject to change.
