01/2014, i3 currently not included in BMWCCA rebate

Email from BMWCCA in early Jan 2014:

At this point, it is not included in the program. Please check back once you take delivery as the program can change at any time.
Thanks,
BMW CCA

Probably won't be allowed on the i8 either. I didn't get the $1000 credit on my SLS from the MBCA, it was "exempt." Which I find funny because you can use it on a base 3-series, where it's basically a 3% discount. On an i8, $1k would be a 0.7% discount. So, they would rather take a proportionally large loss on a cheap car, than a small loss on an expensive one. Weird.

Well, for what it's worth, the 'CCA rebate on a 3-series is only $500, hardly a 3% discount, but it's better than nothing.
