BMW E90 4 wheels alignment

Hi Everybody
Which is the best place to get the BMW E90 4 wheels alignment done in BAY AREA USA other than the dealers.
Is it recommended to get it done outside the BMW Dealership. They are charging crazy money for it.
Please let me know
Thanks and best regards
Krishna

Ah, which bay in the United states do you refer to?

Or, just check any Tirerack recommended dealer - they frequently do alignment.

Nothing ultra here - simple- thrust angle, camber; toe.

$179 is the going rate at the dealers in Dallas. Sometimes they'll have specials for $79 or $129, but it seems they never have them when I buy tires.

Backyard Bumpkin Adjust
? Not accurate enough for anything but roughing in the suspension after work done, it's labor intensive....guess there's a reason all that alignment equipment's used!

First off, all paws gotta be level. Nope, garage floor's not even close, with 1/2" or more variation.

Then, wheels must freely move on the base. Alignment tables are basically flat surfaces on big ball bearings....the linoleum tiles I used are both not fine height adjustment and not easy to work with, but they are quite brittle and easily snapped.

Goes on....sigh! Bite the bullet; buy the equipment. You'll be way, way ahead.

79.00 at....gulp...ready....Mavis. I know, I know...you would never take your car there...but wait....wait...dont hate...(sorry)...I only say this because I found one that I really like...the service manager there is a BMW guy and gets it....I got a great deal after chatting with him for a while ...now the car handles perfectly and I notice the difference!....Taking the wife's car in next week.

that said...there are 4 Mavis tires centers near me and I will NOT go to 2 of them. EVER AGAIN...

going rate at indy shops around here is anywhere from 100.00-150.00...
