Rain Sensor Issue

Got a new windshield (Pinkerton), my rain sensor doesn't function correctly. It will work and not work...work then not work. It seems like it isn't "sensing" the rain correctly. Is this a glass issue or was the sensor just installed wrong? Any ideas?

Gotta be an install issue ...... take it back.

I've had two done and the rain sensor works fine on both cars.

There's a gel sticker of some sort that needs to be replaced on windshield installation. If they either don't do it or don't do it right, the sensor doesn't work right. Call the installation company. It's a quick fix. (Audi Q5 experience)
