Dale,

Did the two-day M school back in July. Is this a BMWCCA class? Either way, you'll love it, really well done BMW's part...

Most folks in my class drove F10 M5's, only two of us were M3 drivers. But the clear consensus was that the M3 was by far the best car for the track. Don't get me wrong, the F10 M5 is a beast and given it's size, handled extremely well. The M6 is a beautiful car but I'd put it third on the list out of the three.

M6>M6 on the track in every way.

Agree.

My local (BMW) chapter just released their HPDE schedule. Track time just around the corner.

Talking Just got back!

I just got back from two-day M-School on Monday! It was one of the most fun things I have ever done. I have an extensive writeup if you are interested. It is totally first class all the way!

Although I didn’t go with anyone, everyone there was super friendly and really into the class, the cars, and the whole experience. We got extremely lucky that the weather was perfect; sunny both days which allowed everyone to experience all the “events”.

As everyone should know on this forum, you would be a fool not to join the BMW CCA before enrolling; the 15% discount on not only the school (~$500), but all merchandise there (and only available at the performance center) is well worth the minimal fee.

Agreed! A first class operation.... Pricey yes, but well worth it!

The attached pick is from BMWCCA and is my 2-day school back in July 2013.

Next stop for you all is the Advanced M School, which takes the 2 day M School to the next level. Very small groups, as the PC usually has more staff/instructors than participates.

For the ultimate BMW M driving experience, here it is the link for the Germany BMW Driving Experience programs: http://www.bmw.com/com/en/insights/d.../overview.html

I highly recommend the 2 day BMW M Fascination Nordschleife. http://www.bmw.com/com/en/insights/d...dschleife.html

This program is way beyond the 2 day M School and Advanced M @ VIR, but it could of also been the goose bumps from driving the Nordschleife with a BMW engineer as your instructor in the pace car. The whole track is yours (and your classmates), as BMW rents out the Nordschleife for the full 2 days. PM me if any questions.
