I still think that you have fuse or possibly a bad connection somewhere. The AFS will clear itself after running the reset. Crank the car 3 times each direction with the steering wheel to a complete stop, remove the key & open the drivers door.

There are just to many things going on with the DME circuit. Don't I remember you replacing the IVM? If so, was it not in the fuse panel under the hood? It is possible that a fuse is not seated all of the way, or corrsion from years of service. There have also been reports of water getting in that panel, if the fresh air drains are not cleaned on each of the front fenders.

I was pretty sure last night there wwould be something going on. I am going to ask one last question, have you charged the battery recently?

There is a test in DIS to test the fan for operation. There are either 3 or 4 speeds that the fan will be tested at. There is a relay on the fan to the far left top side of the radiator. I suggest running the test to see what it shows.

Good Luck!

actually you might be on something cause i do have an error about active steering i will open the garage door tomorrow and let her run and do those tests

Yes i constantly have it on a trickle charger i will pull all fuses tomorrow and make sure they are all seated well in the trunk and in the glove box,do you know where this e box fan is located i will check connections there as well
This beats watching tv at least i'll get to know my car

Here is the PDF for the Ebox fan. It will show you where the main fuse panel is, & how to remove. Disregard my other reply concerning the cooling fan. While I was searching the WDS system, I found the wiring for the Ebox fan. I learn something everyday about theses cars. I still suspect you might find a blown fuse before you get to the fan. I will attach the fuse number shortly.

Have you tried install Firefox on your PC to see if it will run WDS? Just be careful if you install it, to not install other junk software you might not want!

I did a Google, & it seems that there is a thread where some people have used a motor from Radio Shack in theirs. a 5.00 fix. I still think that something else is also related to your problem? I have crashed my new PC, & have been quite occupied trying to recover it. This is what happens when you download some bad software.
