09 328i battery trouble

I been having the car four months I notice when I push to start I notice the starter turns slow then start. No lights indicate anything is wrong. Could it be the winter storm causing this to the battery? I read somewhere bmw batteries aren't strong any suggestion . Thanks.

Yes it's the cold. My car is experiencing the same. It might help a bit by turn off radio/accessories before powering off vehicle. My original BMW battery lasted 7 years.

At 5 years old our batteries are in the later stages of their lives.

A $20 Shumacher battery tender (trickle charger) from Wal-Mart will extend the life and probably get you through the winter.

As long as its starting, its fine. The slower crank is normal.
