Huh? Google doesn't understand you either. So I'm thinking you don't know what it is or the correct term for it..

Now your loosely describing an OSV that i don't know for sure the m50 had..

Why don't you post a diagram and point it out.

Number 2 in this picture. I don't see a listing for any O-ring.

Hi all,

Hopefully not late. I removed the head not so long ago and I'm pretty sure there's NO o'ring.

Cheers

Fernando

rookie error!!!!

Hi all, classic rookie error i suppose made by myself.
i took the cam lifters out of the tray and didnt mark or reference any to its bore.
i thought i had did the right thing by putting them all in ziplock bags but realised after the fact that i shouldnt have.
im asking if i should now buy new lifters or still use the old ones in now random bores?
i did (thank god) manage to write on the ziplock bags which ones were the exhaust and intake.

I think hydrolic lifters are ok to swap around.. They spin and expand in the bore a lot so they don't really become matched as much as solid lifters i believe..

This may be wrong! Im Not sure...

have some problems 3-4 months down the track.
i shall research a bit more before i make any decisions as to keeping or replacing them.
