NEED Drivers side adaptive headlight assembly.

Hi all -

My adaptive headlight is out. My angels eyes won't even work. So sad. I called the dealer (what a mistake), they said over 3k to repair.

Does anyone know where I can buy either a used one or an inexpensive one?

2008 335xi

Thank you!

Adaptive headlight module and angel eyes are on a different circuit within the frm.

Do you have an adaptive error on your dash?

Have you tried changing the angel the bulb? How long has the angel eye but been out for?

The dealer didn't even see the car and assumed full replacement... $3k. Wow.

Yes, I have the adaptive headlamp error. The angel eyes went out at the same time the error came on.

The dealership told me that the whole assembly needs to be replaced. Until then, my angel eyes won't work nor will the error turn off.

I need to find a good reliable BMW shop in my area that does not try to make you go bankrupt.

Seems like this maybe an issue with the frm.

Take the angle eye bulb out and apply 12v directly to the bulb. If it lights up, there is most likely a short circuit in your frm module.

Also check behind the drivers side kick panel, behind the hood release. Frm module is located there and if the grates in the engine bay by the hood struts are clogged, water can overflow and leak onto the frm.
