S.I.B. auto trans, mechatronic sleeve repair

Taking my '08 328i E93 to an Indy tomorrow for an oil change and inspection as my CPO warranty expires in April. I have been reading about the leaking mechatronic sleeves in the auto transmissions. Repair instruction RA2434020 refers to ZF transmissions 6HP26 and 6HP19.
Without a lift available at home, how do I know what transmission I have?

I believe the 328 series uses the GM sourced unit, not any of the ZF units.

Yes GM but you are worried about an outliar event.

Have your indy check for oil filter housing gasket leak / valve cover gasket leak / any other oil leaking viewed from underneath the car on a lift.

Have them check the serpentine belt ... is it riding off the tensioner pulley (even 1/4 inch).

Are you covered for battery? If its original its on its last legs.
